Welcome to Mrs Woolly’s Campground, located in the Glenorchy township, a spectacular 45-minute drive from Queenstown on one of the most scenic drives you’ll ever experience, and home to some of New Zealand’s best hikes, along with the awe-inspiring scenery that has formed the backdrop for many films such as The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.
No matter whether you want to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings or be challenged in the great outdoors, you won’t leave disappointed.

The campground is open from October 6th through Easter Weekend. Simply book online, choose your site, and enjoy the ease of self-checkin when you arrive.
Mrs Woolly’s Campground is part of The Headwaters group
a not-for-profit organisation deeply connected to the Glenorchy community. You will find us located in the heart of the Glenorchy township, next to Mrs Woolly’s General Store and a short walk to the lakefront and the lagoon boardwalk.
Staying here couldn’t be more convenient – the General Store is right next door, stocked with tramping gear, fresh produce, daily bread, tasty supplies, and of course, great coffee.
