The campsite closes for the season on 28th April and will reopen on 1st October 2024.

Basic Rules/Conditions of Occupancy

Arrival:

Arrival Time: 2 pm unless stated otherwise. In the event the camp office is closed, we invite you to book on-line at www.MrsWoollysCampground.co.nz.

Departure:

Departure Time: 10 am

Accounts:

Balance of accounts are payable on arrival. Payment must be made for the full time booked. There is no refund for late arrivals or early departures.

Alcohol:

Alcohol is only permitted to be consumed on your allocated site. Alcohol is not to be consumed within the amenity area or walking around the Park. Excessive drinking and parties are forbidden.

Smoking:

Smoking is NOT PERMITTED in any of the communal areas. Smoking on camping sites can be uncomfortable for your neighbours – Please be mindful and smoke well away from other people.

Barbecues:

No solid fuel barbeques allowed. Accelerants are not to be used in ANY circumstances.

Caravans:

Including campervans must have an electrical warrant of fitness and comply with NZS3001:2008 and LPG Standard (NZS 5428:2006). All campervans and caravans must have their own wastewater container. Chemical toilets must be emptied in dump stations. PLEASE NOTE – The BP station (Frankton Road) in Queenstown is the closest available dump station to Glenorchy

Children:

Children to be controlled and supervised by parents at all times.

Conduct:

Reasonable quietness between 10.30pm and 7am. Some discretion is allowed on New Year’s Eve. Reasonable behaviour and dress at all times. No liquor to be consumed in park except on own site. Excessive drinking and parties are forbidden.

Damage:

Cost of damage to property will be recovered.

Parking:

One vehicle to be parked on own site only, except for a Tent Only site where no vehicles are allowed on the site. Parking is not allowed on driveways. Mrs Woollys Carpark can be used for Day Visitors. Overnight use of the Carpark is monitored and must have an approved certificate. Unauthorised overnight use of the Carpark may incur a fee, clamping of the vehicle or removal. Please note The use of our Carpark facilities is at your own risk in every respect – we cannot accept any liability for damage or loss of items.

Pets:

Dogs are only allowed on site when you are staying in a Campervan or Caravan and must be on a lead at all times. Please see our pet policy – it is very important that you let us know beforehand!

Rubbish:

To be recycled or wrapped and placed in receptacles provided.

Speed:

Vehicle speed in park is limited to a walking pace only.

Power:

Electricity can only be connected through an approved isolating transformer or RCD Safety Switch at powered sites. Please note no generators are allowed to operate in the Park.

Visitors:

Visitors are allowed by arrangement with the management. Your visitors are your responsibility and should depart by 10pm. Visitor’s vehicles are to be left outside the park or in visitor’s car park. Any charge for visitors, if not paid, will be your responsibility.

Emergency:

For ALL medical or fire emergencies please call 111

We ask for your co-operation so that your stay and the stay of other guests can be enjoyable.

Breach of any of these rules, Health & Safety or Fire Regulations may result in you being required to leave the park immediately without refund.
